Design of thin film small bag packaging for rice Senba company, located in California, USA, is the branch of Japanese food giant Senba Food Co., Ltd. in the United States. The factory was put into operation in 2001. It is engaged in the processing business of its own brand products and specializes in producing Asian food for retail, wholesale, food service and industrial users. The facility of the factory has passed the certification of QAI organization and the certification of Jewish food production. One of the main packaging lines in the factory uses the twb1 vertical forming/filling/sealing machine produced by Tokyo automatic machinery works

this vertical forming/filling/sealing machine is equipped with a double port hopper produced by spee Dee Packaging Machinery Co. (), which combines the spee dee3500 digitronic screw propeller with the volumetric cup hopper, and uses several volumetric cups to distribute the product by a rotary indexing disc. Both devices are controlled by a programmable logic controller and a touch screen located in the electrical enclosure, and both are equipped with an ecodrive digital AC servo system. The system has high-resolution feedback and can accurately control the position and speed of MKD rotary servo motor. These systems are provided by Bosch Rexroth (). With the help of a double port funnel, Senba can simultaneously put two different products into the same small bag. The advantage of this method is that various components can be mixed during filling without delamination during separate filling. The system was originally installed to operate the pastry mixture and chocolate chips. The pastry mixture is distributed by the screw propeller and the chocolate chips are distributed by the cup funnel
